Day 20

The things we don't see

Work fast
During your ten minutes today, make closeup photographs of as many things as you can. Choose a location. Set your timer for 10 minutes and stop when the timer goes off. Get close and shoot everything you see. Empty your mind of everything else going on in your life. Photograph things you know are there but don't take the time to see. Photograph objects, architectural elements, furniture, fabrics, any pattern, shape or texture that catches your eye. Get right on top of your subjects and let them fill your entire frame. Move closer and photograph parts of an object you find to be interesting as you look at it through your lens. Keep your mind on the assignment and don’t let it wander. Don’t break for even a moment. Be quiet as you work and don’t look at your pictures until your ten minutes are up.
