Today spend 10 minutes taking photographs that illustrate something happened or if you prefer, about to happen. You would have anticipated this shot before the birthday boy took his first bite. As you use your camera more, you will find yourself seeing more. You will be ready not only for great photographs for things that are likely to occur. Photograph storm clouds, budding trees, a good sale about to begin. We miss so much because we are so distracted by our phones, and our buzzing, busy minds. We are rarely truly present in the moment. Make time to feel what’s going on in your world. There may be signs of changes you need to prepare for—of danger or of something good about to happen. So, take a deep breath, chill and observe what is going on around you.
